Sharpening jig utilizes a whetstone with precision. The baseplate features guiding rails, allowing the knife to be easily inserted into either the 25° slot or placed on the 20° flat of the slider. Although not entirely certain about its intended use, the 25° guide seems particularly suited for pocket knives that undergo heavy wear and tear. An 18° guide could also prove useful.
