I have many fond memories of Shel Silverstein's writings, so I wanted to try to create a cover art in 3D that really pops. The largest part of this model is hollow to keep it lightweight and easy to handle. There's even a hole in the back to hang it from a nail for added convenience. You'll need to add supports for the kids and dog, but don't worry about the base - it's totally self-sufficient. There's a place where the sidewalk ends, And before the street begins, And there the grass grows soft and white, And there the sun burns crimson bright, And there the moon-bird rests from his flight To cool in the peppermint wind. Let us leave this place where the smoke blows black And the dark street winds and bends.
