When You Gaze Into Lucky Cat and Friends, The Lucky Cat and Friends Gaze Back
thingiverse
I hollowed out the cat and removed the faceplate because nothing's creepier than something that should have a face but doesn't. Then, I filled it with glitter, painted a contrasting color, stuck a light inside, and went wild. Print Settings: Printer: Micro3D Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Infill: It's hollow so... Notes: I printed the cat on its back with supports. Maybe it would work without them... The squid has a small space at the bottom before the actual base of the model, so be sure to use supports. How I Designed This: I opened the cat in Blender, cut out the face, and added a Solidify modifier. It printed okay, so I guess I got it right. I used "tris to quads" – extremely helpful.
