Customizable wheels that can be tailored to fit specific needs. Variables include: - outer_diameter: overall size of the wheel - wall_thickness: thickness of the outer rim and hub - thickness: width of the wheel - spokes: number of spokes, where a large number produces a solid wheel - spoke_thickness: - spoke_width: - hub_thickness: - axle: - number of wheels to print The default wheel measures 5 cm in diameter and fits comfortably on a barbecue skewer axle that is approximately 4 mm in size. A set of four wheels weighs in at 9 grams, assuming an infill percentage of 5 percent; this weight remains the same even with a 10 percent infill rate. These wheels were designed specifically for balloon-powered cars, where minimizing weight was crucial. A set of eight wheels can be printed on the build plate of a Flashforge Creator Pro without any issues. Printing with default settings takes approximately 2.5 hours to complete. Known issues and areas for further improvement include: - Spokes are currently designed as cubes, limiting their width - Only one spoke style is available at this time - The option for round axle is the only one currently supported - The code was thrown together quickly and may not be visually appealing
