I recently built some repair parts for my wife's crafting tote box, which had completely snapped due to its original plastic components. By the time I finished repairing it, I almost had enough parts designed to convert a small bag or box into a wheelie tote box. So, I made the remaining parts needed to make this conversion possible. This design can also be adapted for use on a toolbox, turning it into a functional wheelie toolbox. The exact placement of the parts is entirely up to you. The updated wheel design has been changed from solid to a 5-spoked version. If you decide to convert a bag into a tote box, it will require a plywood insert at the bottom or a rigid enough box to support the base and stand components. I used 16mm steel tubing for the handles, which is approximately 76cm long, but 30 inches seems like a suitable length. If you'd like me to add parts for different sizes of tubing, please let me know, and I'll do my best to accommodate your request. The main parts should assemble using 6mm or 1/4 inch bolts. The wheels can be fitted with 6mm or 1/4 inch bolts and locknuts. The tubing can be secured with 3mm bolts or thin screws using the holes in the handle and base. Printing in PLA or ABS should produce satisfactory results. However, it's recommended to print the base part in the supplied orientation, with supports. No additional supports are required for any other parts. Raft or brim printing is not necessary unless you truly need them. The wheels can be fitted with a thin rubber tire (tire) after printing by wrapping self-amalgamating tape around them, but make sure to avoid covering the sides to ensure proper fit and function. This was a quick project, so please forgive me if I've been unclear or missed anything crucial - just let me know.
