Wheelchair replacement footrest band

I couldn't find a replacement band for my mother's wheelchair, so I decided to take matters into my own hands and design one myself. The second band visible in the photos is actually the original broken footrest band that needed replacing. My mother's wheelchair is a lightweight Excel van Os model, which made it an ideal candidate for some DIY TLC. To ensure a perfect fit, I carefully measured the diameter of the two holes in the band - they measure 12 mm in diameter and taper from 18-22 mm deep. I opted to use semi-flex PLA filament from Real filaments, which proved to be a great choice given its flexibility and durability. However, printing the new band was no easy task! I had to slow down my print speed to 20 mm/s to achieve the desired results, but it was worth it in the end.
