Update 18 March 2023: When tested, the previous version cracked where the mending plate met the plastic, so I've updated it to more evenly spread the rotational force throughout the 3D printed piece. As always, if you give it a try let me know how it goes! I developed this version so that the contact point between the hub and the socket wrench would be metal, and so that the force of the torque would be spread out more evenly across the 3D printed part. Then, if you have mag wheels or wheels with fewer spokes, you'll want to use mending plates as backers behind your spokes. If you have regular spokes like on my chair (in the photo with my other version in aluminum), you can use washers to hold the 3D printed piece to your chair via the eight bolts.
