Your aunt suggested adding wheelchair footrests to the walker, allowing her to push it more easily. Although this modification voids the walker's warranty, it has significantly improved their lives. Initially, you considered sandblasting and welding brackets onto the walker, but printing revisions turned out to be faster and cheaper. You designed small footrest attachments that require minimal external components and don't alter the walker itself; they can be easily removed. To install them, first remove the front wheels and side support beams of the walker. Then slide the top pieces onto the outside of the walker followed by the support beam and finally the lower pieces. Reattach the front wheels and adjust spacing for comfort.
