This is designed to fit into a wheelchair, which has a 5/8 inch socket. See pictures for example. Part is scaled to exactly 5/8 inch. I would suggest slicing a small section of the 5/8 in square male plug, and doing a test fit. For my application, scaling to 99% and some light sanding resulted in an a good press fit.
