This is a standard safety lockout procedure for wheel valves, such as steam valves. Install a hinge pin or bolt, depending on your size requirements, and secure it in place. Then, position the wheel cover over the valve wheel and fasten the safety lockout device on the opposite side. This mechanism can support up to three separate lockout locks.
