Wheel/Tire Balancing Adapter for BMW motorcycles

Wheel/Tire Balancing Adapter for BMW motorcycles

This is a set of spacers designed specifically to balance the front and rear wheels of my 2009 BMW R1200GS, a 5-spoke model. The adapter may fit other models, but it's likely to work best with large rear hub 5-spoke models. The design centers around a 1/2" or 13.5mm shaft, though I made the hole slightly loose. Wrapping one layer of tape around my shaft secures it perfectly. Two bolts, 1/4-20 x 2", are used with each bolt featuring a washer and nut. Apply some tape over the washer before use to prevent paint damage. This spacer was created using Tinkercad. Feel free to edit it online if you want to adjust the center shaft size or hub diameters to match your specific model: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/egUAQvsnSyt Printer Settings: Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3 Infill: 15% Notes: Build with 5 shells and a 0.8 floor/ceiling height, along with 15% infill for sufficient strength to easily hold the wheel.
