This is a precise replica of a Stereo 10K audio taper potentiometer, commonly used as a volume control for portable electronic devices like CD players, headphones, and video games. This model can be used as a mock-up for designing custom cases for your electronics projects. The design was based on the Radio Shack part number 2710001, but keep in mind that there are many similar parts with slight variations, such as wheel thickness. How I Built It I created this model using Blender software by taking precise physical measurements from the actual part. Since manufacturer's specifications can vary, you may need to make some adjustments to fit your specific needs.
