Wheel of the Misfortunates (animation)
grabcad
Introducing my final animation project, creatively named "Wheel of Misfortunates." Originally called "Boobytrap run," this animation has undergone significant conceptual and visual development. The entire animation was produced using KeyShot's built-in tools and rendered in a single unedited frame. To achieve the desired aesthetic, I combined the Toon material with regular KeyShot materials, such as titanium for boobytrap spikes and adapted rubber for the track 'tarmac.' The accompanying music, sourced from Vimeo Music Store, adds to the overall mood. All models were self-designed in SolidWorks 2013 specifically for the Toon Challenge. A downloadable zip archive containing the complete SolidWorks model used in the animation is available on the project's Files tab. Special thanks to lentz for their circular saw blade model and John Seymour for the base procedural shaders used for the planets. The HD video can be viewed at this link: https://vimeo.com/70823140. Enjoy!
