Wheel Lacing Stand
thingiverse
I've created a Wheel Lacing Stand with supports that hold the hoop concentric to the hub while inserting spokes. It works great, but be sure to use it on a solid bench or table. Standard EMT tubing from any hardware store (about 0.710 inch diameter) is used. See the image for tubing lengths. This setup fits up to a 22 inch wheel. To assemble, you'll need 1/8 x 3/8 rivets to secure printed parts to tubing. No. 6-18 x 1.0 (or shorter) drywall screws are also required. Grind off the points so they don't hurt you. If there's enough interest, I can create assembly instructions and provide some info on wheel lacing. Just comment below!
