Wheel for use in Caster FEATURES ABEC BEARING INTERGRATION!
thingiverse
I am designing this wheel specifically for use in a caster on my line following robot, which I'm building from scratch. The central hole allows an ABEC skating bearing to fit snugly inside, ensuring a silky-smooth ride. Take a closer look at the wheel's exterior; you'll notice it doesn't conform to a perfect circle. This is entirely Sketchup's circle tool that didn't cooperate with my creative vision! After experimenting, I've found a workaround but unfortunately, this model doesn't lend itself as easily to it. This wheel can function without its caster brace, which I will upload separately, though its grip on the floor leaves much to be desired. MORE IMAGES TO COME SOON!!! Printing Instructions Rafts: Doesn't matter. Supports: Doesn't matter. Resolution: Doesn't matter. Infill: Doesn't matter. Notes: Print twice, as this file contains half a wheel that will print without rafts or supports! Post-Print Smooth Ride Smooth out those wheels! Sand or file the edge of the wheel where it meets the floor until you get a flawless finish.
