Wheel Clearance Modifications

Wheel Clearance Modifications

In building my Tarmo4, I found that my wheels were too deep to be compatible with the design. So I modified the steering knuckle (making it a little harder to print without supports) and the wheel adapters for 12mm hex wheels. Altogether I added ~4mm of additional clearance between the suspension/drivetrain parts and my rims. Before pictures show yellow steering knuckle, while after show orange. I also added a modified dogbone, as I found the original dogbone was SLIGHTLY too long for my assembly, which made the steering a bit rough crossing over the center from left to right and back. I shortened the dogbone by 0.25mm (pretty minimal), but it did help. My steering is now smoother.
