Wheel Center Cap

Wheel Center Cap

One of my Pro Comp center caps came loose from my Toyota FJ, so I lost it. I attempted to buy a replacement but couldn't find one (all the wrong size). Fortunately, 3D printing saved the day. The outside dimension of the hole in my alloy wheels is 107.6 mm. The originals held those in place with a wire spring, while my replacement relies on friction. It's probably a good idea to use Shoe Goop to prevent it from coming loose. Print Settings Rafts: None Supports: None Resolution: Low Resolution Infill: 15% Infill Rate Notes: Printed with five outer shells for added strength. Due to the size, it tends to warp without a heated bed. Post-Printing I spray-painted the print with mirror paint and plan to create a logo to glue onto the outside of the cap to give it some extra style.
