This is a wheel base I created for my Inmoov robot, drawing inspiration from Gael Langevins' impressive work on the Inmoov project at http://inmoov.fr. To assemble this base construction, you'll need some welding skills. The Turnigy 1270HV 40kg servos I've used will provide smooth operation. I've only published the "metal tube" STL as a guide for determining the metal tube dimensions needed. For centering the wheel servo, use two resistors with an optimal value of 2.2kΩ. To ensure continuous rotation of the main gear on the wheel servo, remember to remove the metal pin (end stop). I'll include a photo demonstrating this later. Don't attempt to print the "all parts STL," as it's intended for illustration purposes only. On two axles, create a center hole to secure the bolt with screws. I will update these designs soon. Note that my English skills are still developing - bear with me! Printer Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer Model: Mendel Supports: No Resolution: 2mm Notes: Using smaller layer heights and thicker infill percentages, especially for the axles, results in a stronger structure. I recommend a 2mm height and 40% infill setting. For optimal results, stick to printing with PLA - ABS may not yield satisfactory results.
