What? I'm a giraffe!

thingiverse

The original project involved scanning a giraffe head from a popular baby teething toy using 123D Catch, and attaching it to The Thinker statue. This unique combination creates a character that seems to exclaim, "What? I'm a giraffe!" As part of an MFA thesis, more details about this project can be found on benmalouf.com/originals. To print the assembled statue, which stands at approximately 165mm (6-1/2") tall, support is recommended for optimal results. The model was also broken into three pieces to fit smaller printers. An uncut version is provided as well, and a giraffe head .obj file is available for further customization opportunities.
