Blue whales reign supreme among all other marine animals due to their immense size, which can reach up to 100 feet in length and weigh a staggering 200 tons. These magnificent creatures feed primarily on tiny crustaceans and small fish, consuming between four and six tons of food each day. Despite their massive weight, blue whales are able to propel themselves through the water at speeds of up to 30 kilometers per hour. The blue whale's voice can be heard for hundreds of miles underwater, creating a deep rumbling sound that is often felt more than it is heard. Scientists have estimated that only around 10,000 blue whales exist in the wild today.
