# What 3D print and wind your own Whac-A-Mole replacement solenoid coil. # Why I bought a totally broken and well worn Whac-A-Mole Pro machine and didn't want to spend any real money to rebuild it, so I figured I would make my own replacement coils. # How Print the spool solid out of something durable, I printed these using Onyx from Markforged but it is basically Nylon with Carbon Fiber. Next wind the spools with magnet wire. Use 22awg wire and it takes around 530g of wire, or around 570ft. I applied 16 layers as neatly as possible on my lathe. The finished resistance measures 9.2 ohms the original was 9.25 ohms. Here is part 2 of my finished project showing the machine working. https://youtu.be/lgAJGOEn_f0
