This is an updated version of my Alien's Dropship. It is now scaled to 300mm and fully printable, print verified for your convenience. April 9, 2019 Update • Added New_Body_Split - a new body split design that features a slot for the upper missile wings to slide into seamlessly. Use this cut of the body if you plan to deploy it in attack mode. • NewMissleWings - these upper missile wings are specifically designed for building the dropship in attack mode, ensuring a secure and stable fit. • To join the upper missile pods to the wing, simply use some 1.75mm filament. If scaling is required, scale a small cylinder of 1.75mm filament accordingly. Notes: • The nose at 300mm will need to be DLP/SLS printed for optimal results. However, you can try using an FDM printer with a .25mm nozzle if desired. • The Missile Pod Wings come in two versions: one that angles them upwards and another that allows for more flexibility. • The Missle Pod Wings may present some challenges when printing due to their complex design. I've successfully printed them on my DLP printer, but you may need to experiment with different settings. • Gear Down and Gear Up mechanisms are included in the package for added realism. • Decals are also provided in .AI format, allowing you to scale them as needed. You may need to make some adjustments if scaling is required, as they are all vector-based designs. • All parts should fit together nicely, providing a seamless assembly experience.
