Wet stone holder with suction cup
thingiverse
I created this wet stone holder because my old one kept sliding around while sharpening. Even with a rubber base, it would eventually start to slide when all the water got involved. That's why I came up with the idea of securing it in place using a suction cup. My suction cup is actually from a basic IKEA shampoo holder that works incredibly well on very flat surfaces. The stone itself is held firmly in place by a screw for maximum stability. I also added grooves to the bottom so water can easily escape.
