Wet Palette v2
thingiverse
This is an enhanced version of my initial poor man's wet palette design, this version has been designed to hold together with 6x2 or 6x3 magnetsThis version comprises of three key components: the foundational base serving as the wet palette, the central section acting as the palette's lid, and the top segment functioning as a cutting guide for parchment paper and the sponge section. For those new to the concept of a wet palette, begin by cutting a thin sponge cloth (such as Spontex Specialist) and a piece of greaseproof or parchment paper to the required dimensions. Place the sponge in the base tray, ensuring it is moist but not overly saturated with water. Position the parchment paper atop the sponge, smoothing out any irregularities with a credit card or a similar tool. Now, drop your paint onto the wet palette, and experience a significant delay in paint drying time during your painting endeavors. For a comprehensive guide on wet palettes, refer to Vallejo's informative video available at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QMPn5po5-m0.
