Wet Palette

Wet Palette

myminifactory

A versatile palette for painting designed to accommodate sponge pads measuring 18x20cm. Effortless print, no additional support needed. Utilize multiple top and bottom layers or apply a sealant (epoxy resin, polyurethane, acrylic clear-coat spray, etc.) to prevent moisture leakage. It is not intended to be completely sealed off, the concept allows paint to naturally replenish lost moisture. Using a wet palette will keep your paints fresh for days to weeks depending on local climate conditions. Two distinct lid options are included: a DaVinci self-portrait and a plain version. To assemble: 1) Print a Lid, Frame, and Base. 2) Insert sponge pad into base (after any applied sealer has fully cured). 3) Place a sheet of parchment/baking paper (unwaxed) on top and press the frame down to prevent edge curling. 4) Add clean water gradually until the pad is saturated and the paper surface is smooth. 5) Add paints and begin creating!
