A minimalist design was required to accommodate various objects without compromising the paintwork's integrity. The solution needed to be robust and uncomplicated. By emulating kitchen sponge cloths, the dimensions of the cloth could be standardized: cutting it wet to 100mm by 175mm would yield a consistent size. However, users should note that the lid is not watertight. Printing at 100% infill density ensures that water does not seep in, although a well-tuned print might allow for less than full density.
