Wet Paintbrush Holder

Wet Paintbrush Holder

This is a holder designed specifically for drying your paintbrushes. Currently, it holds my 3/4" brush, which measures approximately 11.5mm at its thickest point. The smallest brush in my collection measures just under 5mm at its thickest point. If you need a larger or smaller brush, simply post a comment and I'll be happy to source one for you quickly. To keep your brushes securely in place, you will need either a hair tie or rubber band. A hair tie is recommended if available, as the rubber band can be a bit too grippy. There are two versions of the base and holder currently available: you will need one of each. Base Versions: 1. Hole for an M5 bolt to be threaded in. I prefer this method because it allows you to use a longer bolt (I use an M5x45mm) to keep everything as one piece when loading your brushes. 2. Prints with a pin to have the holder sit on if you don't want to purchase an M5 bolt. Holder Versions: 1. Has a hole for an M5 bolt or the base with 3D printed pin, allowing sufficient rotation. 2. Has an inset hole for an M5 11x4mm bearing. The holder can be printed with 10% infill; I suggest using higher infill for the base as the neck is kept thin. If this becomes an issue even with higher infill, I can adjust the neck thickness accordingly. If you want to check your scaling before investing time in printing, test prints are available for your reference. #Inspired by xFireDragonx Wet Paintbrush Holder.
