I used PrusaSlicer negative volume modifiers to add 10 magnet holes to bottom of the snake.

These are designed to superglue or press fit the magnets in after the print is finished (depending on your tolerances). The magnet holes are 5.2mm(D) x 3.15mm(H) cylinders, for 5x3mm magnets.

But since they're just cylinder modifiers in the slicer, you can edit this to match whatever magnets you actually have! Just select each "Generic-Cylinder" in the slicer, then change the size. If you change the height, be sure to click the "Drop to bed" button (in the "Position" row) to make sure it prints correctly.

This is sliced at 0.15mm layer height, with 3 perimeters to strengthen the articulated joints.
