Western Digital Case for 2TB drive
thingiverse
Case for a Western Digital My Passport 2TB hard drive. Really went all out with this one. The two pieces fit together perfectly every time, thanks to the carefully designed insets and raised parts. The bottom feet have corresponding recesses that make it easy to cover the screw holes with bumpers. This ensures they're flush and look great. To ensure airflow, ventilation holes are strategically placed on either side of the case. To accommodate a broken brass standoff in my actual drive, I added screw holes on the sides for mounting from this angle instead. Here's what you'll need: * 4x M3 screws that are 6mm long to secure the top piece to the bottom * 4x adhesive bumpers to attach to the bottom and provide a smooth surface * 4x 4/40 screws to safely install the drive into the case from the sides Printing details: No raft is used in this design. Supports are enabled.
