Small outcropping within mature, privately owned plantation near West Horton in Northumberland.\nThis stone is documented on Beckensall Archive (BA) as ‘West Horton 2c’, where it's described as:\n‘Small rock with a cup and arc and two cups.’ \nNADRAP added the record to ERA in 2008, noting:\n‘Dome-shaped rock in plantation with deep cup, penannular groove, and short groove, plus two separate cups. This rock is more weathered than nearby West Horton 2a and 2b.’ \nERA Record: https://archaeologydataservice.ac.uk/era/section/panel/overview.jsf?eraId=61\nThis fairly noisy model only shows the upper carved surface and was created from a single stereo pair captured by Kevin Malloy (NADRAP Team 1) in February 2007. The imagery is part of the full NADRAP archive deposited with Historic England and Northumberland County Council.
