West Horton 1b (2007)
sketchfab
Area of outcropping, situated on private farmland near West Horton in Northumberland. This carving was documented in the Beckensall Archive as 'West Horton 1b', and added to ERA by the Northumberland and Durham Rock Art Project (NADRAP) in 2008. The motifs found on this site include cups, rings, partial rings, and grooves. While some of these motifs remain in good condition, others are severely eroded. This may indicate that parts of the stone have been hidden beneath vegetation for extended periods. ERA Record: https://archaeologydataservice.ac.uk/era/section/panel/media.jsf?eraId=68. This model was generated from 8 stereo pairs captured by Joe Gibson in March 2007, and formed part of the ERA / NADRAP archive. It was created in September 2019.
