Wera Screwdriver Holder

This is my take on designing a perfect screwdriver holder ;). I went through a lot of designs already present on thingiverse and borrowed some ideas from a few, mainly 2918462 and 3671735. They both are excellent designs however they didn't fit my use case. Key features of this design: - Open front loading, which removes the necessity to keep an empty space above the holder. - Each holder is tailored for a specific Wera screwdriver model. - Sockets are beveled towards front for a smooth tool insertion/removal. - Freedom of re-arranging holders after installation. Holders snap onto a 3d-printed rail and can be removed without any tools. - Freedom to adjust spacing between holders. - As the rail for holders is very simple it can be modified to attach to any surface without any hassle. - Holders have embedded text/symbol markings which are designed to be printed in a different color on a single extrusion 3d printer. Printing instructions Rail First, print a rail. As there are infinite possiblities I've attached stl files for a few cases and there is the source file which can be used to generate alternate versions. If you have a need for a specific version and you don't have the means to do it yourself, leave a comment and I will see if I can help. I recommend to print rails with 100% infill and if you print them on the front side you don't need additional support. Holders Holders are designed to be printed on the back with 0.2mm layer height. You need to add some light support on the build plate. It doesn't need to be strong as it is there just to help with bridging a back surface. This surface is not visible when the holder is mounted on the rail. The second thing to do is to add a colour change on a few last layers to make markings on the holder distinct from the body of the holder. This eliminates the need to manually paint markings after the print, and in my opinion gives a much better overall look. I recommend going with Wera's "Take it easy" color scheme. I've attached STL files for holders for screwdrivers I have. If you need a holder for other screwdrivers leave a comment or use OpenScad source file to generate it yourself. Spacers To make it easy to remove/insert screwdrivers into a holder you may want to leave some space between them. You can do it just by snapping holders onto the rail leaving some space, or if you want to have some consistent spacing you can print small spacers I've attached. Pictures show configuration where 5mm spacers were used.
