Wendigo costume set
thingiverse
This is a custom-made costume set inspired by the Wendigo / Forest spirit / Leshen from The Witcher video game series. It's a remix of existing designs, which are credited in the source files. Scale the mask accurately to ensure it fits properly on your head! You can print it in 3 parts or 6 parts, depending on your printer's build volume. Use supports and rafts during printing, especially if you're using a large-scale model. Make sure to scale the mask correctly: for a 58 cm head circumference, around 103-104% scale up should work well, while 100% was too tight and prone to cracking. To assemble the mask, find the right glue for your plastic material. Unfortunately, there's no full mask model in the source files, so I couldn't provide one. You'll need to get creative with gluing it together! The antlers have both full and cut-in-3-parts models (included in the archive). Print them with supports and rafts as well. Since they came from a different model than the mask, you won't find any special attachment points on the skull. Use an awl to puncture the skull at the right spots and attach the antlers using drywall screws and hot glue. This will create natural-looking bumps at the base of the antlers. To size the claws correctly, print the Sizer part (included in the archive) in different scales (start with 120% and increment up to 190%). Try out the printed sizers on your intermediate phalanges (the second joint from your fingertips). It should fit snugly. When you find the right scale for each finger, print 4 ClawFinger and 1 ClawThumb per arm at that desired scale. The claws are printed with supports and rafts. All of these costume pieces can be printed in draft settings, using maximum layer height and nozzle diameter.
