I recently discovered that the dust port on my Web HB3216 belt sander wasn't connecting securely to my Rigid shop vac, but using this adapter has fixed the problem. The dust port on my sander is approximately 30mm in diameter, and the hose end fits perfectly with the standard size of 2 1/2 inches used by Rigid.
