Wemos D1 mini sliding case
### Introduction This is a general purpose case for **ESP8266 Wemos D1 mini** board. It comes in two parts and it is ideal to use it to create embedded device in any larger case. It is designed in a way the can be fitted on the wall of any 3d creation (if you need to create a larger box which should contain a Wemos board.
The back cover should be screwed with four (_OK, maybe I have been over engineered this. Two screws are enough to hold the cover_) M3 (ideally M3x10mm) and keeps the board firmly close to the USB port in order o be able to plug and unplug the micro USB cable whenever is needed to access the device port for programming or diagnostic purposes.
_Remixing this case is highly recommender to add this case to your own box as a part of a larger 3d case._ ### Printing Both parts should be printed as provided with PLA or PLA+ filament. Supports are suggested on the back cover ### Electronics and connections A Wemos D1 mini should be fit firmly on the case and its USB port should be accessible without any problems. Pins are exposed from the top side of the board in one case and from bottom side of the board in the other to drive cables out of the board and connect other electronic parts. ### Which files should I select? **Wemos Back Cover_normal.stl** and **Wemos Case with top cable rails.stl** are the most common choice.
