I'm upgrading my home with intelligent gadgets one device at a time. This design concept is for a housing unit that will hold several multi-position clamps, a 220V to 12V transformer (I've opted for 1A USB power connectors as a suitable interface), a single-channel relay module and a WEMOS D1 mini board (alternatively, I'm considering using an NodMCU). The design is straightforward and uncomplicated; I'm not incorporating any intricate mounting mechanisms or screw compartments because I'll be reusing existing parts. As such, the relays, clamps and converter might undergo changes from one build to another. To assemble this unit, I simply apply hot glue to secure the components in place before snapping the housing together.
