I needed a custom mount for my D1 mini to fit it in the luftdaten.info case thing: 3841481. I found that the standard NodeMCU (ESP8266) has mounting holes at its corners, so I created a D1 mini mount with those same hole dimensions. To use a D1 mini in this project, you'll need to print it at 0.2mm layer height with a 0.4mm nozzle on your Ender 3 Pro. Support material is not required for this design. Make sure to sand the pcb a bit or apply some glue to get a snug fit. A small micro usb plug will be necessary to complete the connection. The D1 mini fits well, but you might need to make some minor adjustments for it to sit perfectly in place.
