This case is designed for the compact WeMOS D1 mini ESP8266 board. Check it out: http://bit.ly/WemosD1Mini What is the Wemos D1 mini board? It's a highly capable and versatile board, powered by the ESP8266 chip. This gives us WiFi capabilities and a fast processor for our projects, all at an incredibly low cost of around $6! You can learn more from this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AuFXuEYd1Yk The enclosure I designed features a 5mm LED hole at the top and a small hole at the back for connecting sensors. It's an easy and quick print, taking about 50 minutes to complete both parts. 3D Printing this Project I use a Wanhao i3 Duplicator 3D printer, which I purchased several years ago, along with plenty of filament. If I were shopping today, I'd buy the following: * 3D Printer: http://educ8s.tv/part/3DPrinter * PLA Filament: http://educ8s.tv/part/PLA * Wood Filament: http://educ8s.tv/part/WoodFilament * Birch Wood Filament: http://bit.ly/WoodFilamentBirch * Coconut Wood Filament: http://bit.ly/WoodFilamentCoconut Print Settings Printer: Wanhao i3 v2.1 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 25% How I Designed This Case I used Fusion 360 to design it, and the process is very straightforward.
