The Kuka K6 robot mounted on a trolley, along with the Naboshi center robot, positions and loads the frame components into the fixture. Once all nest limits are reached, clamps are set in place. Confirmation of clamped positions triggers the fixture to tilt towards four Kuka K-16 robotic welders situated on the opposite side. Upon completion of welding, the Naboshi robot retrieves the fully assembled frame and places it onto an assy line pallet. The entire process takes approximately 1 minute and 18 seconds.
