Replacement tip for Welch Allyn pneumatic otoscopy tube.

Best to print with the press fit top up. I print at 0.1 layers with supports. Usually print in ABS, be careful with heat. I usually keep the cooling fan at 50% and print multiple or keep layer time >10s.

Print Settings

Printer:

Anycubic I3 Mega

Rafts:

No

Supports:

Yes

Resolution:

0.1

Infill:

100

Notes:

I print them upright with a brim and support. It was pretty difficult to get it to lay down the first layer correctly, so the larger the brim the better most likely. I used 0.1mm layer height and print at around 40mm/sec print speed. Takes about 14 minutes to print. Works well and is sturdy. If you require more airflow you can take a 1/16 drill bit to ream the middle prior to use, but it works fine either way.

Category: Parts
