Weird Spring
thingiverse
Here is a customized version of the thing you're trying to make: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:976416 This one was made using the customizer at http://www.thingiverse.com/apps/customizer/run?thing_id=976416 Options Used: We're printing with left holes and a 6 on the spring's right end. The coarseness is turned all the way up to ten, with the length being 200 units long. It's proofread with no change in the diameter. The hole on the left has been turned into an eight, giving it more room to breathe. With twenty windings on it, you know this thing will turn heads. No end on the spring has a zero as its ending mark. And for fun, we threw in some printing helpers to keep everything in order. Custom Options: The diameter of this item is fifty-three. You could also call it an extra thick one and that would make sense too. Now let's see how well we can fit inside here: with spring diameters ranging from one to five! Five by four, yes indeed, will work out alright for this project at least, even if it's still being planned
