Weighted Hex Bases (Just add washers!)

These low-profile bases were designed specifically for use in CAV: Strike Ops, but they can also be used in other hex-based game systems like Battletech. The bases themselves are 2.5mm thick and feature recessed areas that make it easy to glue in washers for added weight. The 28 and 35mm bases require a 3/16 x 1 fender washer, while the others use a 3/8 x 1.5" fender washer. A deliberate design choice was made to increase the width of the beveled edge at the bottom, resulting in bases that are 2mm wider than their top surface. For example, the 28mm base measures 30mm across its bottom and 28mm across its top. This extra space allows for easy installation of washers and has become a standard feature across all the bases. UPDATE: New versions have been added that can accommodate washers with any inner diameter. These versions are clearly labeled as (no ID).
