I designed a custom weighted hand support for a client struggling to hold and use their cell phone due to tremors. The supportive device attaches securely to the phone using Velcro, featuring two interconnected pieces that contain six 5/8-inch washers glued together inside to provide added weight. These specific-sized washers contribute around seven ounces of weight to the phone attachment, ensuring a stable grasp. A sturdy rectangular prism serves as the base, reinforced by super glue and Bondic liquid plastic welding tool for exceptional durability. To enhance user comfort, a plush padding was carefully attached to the curved surface of the hand support using double-sided tape.
