These impressive tournament-size chessmen boast weighted bases, secured with 10-mm socket-head screws that screw into their foundations to provide unwavering stability and a pleasing heft. His majesty stands head and shoulders above other tournament kings. The threaded bases of all pieces, including pawns, are uniformly 32 mm in diameter, fitting snugly on an executive-size board (~45-mm squares) as depicted, yet they remain grandiose enough for a larger tournament-size chessboard (~57-mm squares). This design is also available as a public Tinkercad project. Specifications: - A full 16-piece army, once weighted, weighs 563 grams. It takes approximately 27 hours to print them and three minutes to add weights. - The king with his crown measures 121 mm in height and weighs 57 grams. The queen with her coronet is comparable at 96 mm tall and of similar weight. - The knight reaches a height of 82 mm and weighs 39 grams, while the bishop and rook are similarly proportioned. - The pawn stands 49 mm tall and weighs 29 grams.
