Weighted base for desk lamp (like IKEA TERTIAL)

Here's a quick and easy weighted base for a clamp-based desk lamp, similar to the IKEA TERTIAL. I'm happy with my TERTIAL lamp, but the provided clamp never really worked well for me. I realized I could use cast iron weight plates as a weighted base. I tried a 5lb weight, but it wasn't heavy enough. I settled on a 10lb plate from https://www.dickssportinggoods.com/p/fitness-gear-10-lb-standard-cast-plate-16fgeufg10lbstdcswpl for under $9 and it works great even when the lamp is fully extended sideways. If you don't plan to swing the arm far from the base, a 5lb weight will do just fine. I finish by gluing self-sticking felt, cork or rubber pads to the bottom (I prefer felt so the lamp can easily slide on my desk). The base center was designed in OpenSCAD for an extrusion width of 0.5mm and a layer height of 0.2mm. Four perimeters and 30% infill are recommended, with no supports required. Print with PETG or ABS; I wouldn't trust PLA for this. The source file is included. If you remix it, please also share your source file.
