Weetwood Moor North B

Area of exposed outcrop on Weetwood Moor, near Wooler, Northumberland is a prime spot for archaeological discovery. This carved area of outcrop may be a significant part of a robbed cairn that has been partially uncovered. Several other carvings including portable rocks have also been found in the surrounding area, making it an intriguing site to explore. The Beckensall Archive lists this find as 'Weetwood Moor North B', and it was added to ERA by NADRAP in 2008.
