sketchfab
Area of exposed outcrop situated towards the eastern end of Weetwood Moor, near Wooler, Northumberland.\nThis panel is listed as 'Weetwood Moor 4b' on the Beckensall Archive and was added to the ERA database by NADRAP in 2008. The NADRAP Team 1 notes: \n"Cup and arc are very eroded. Possible basin and another cup exist. Many erosion depressions encroach upon the motifs."\nThe same stone was recorded for the Beckensall Archive in 2003, and again in 2006 by NADRAP, yet it's challenging to match this stone to the original plan drawn by Stan Beckensall circa 1970. \nERA record including BA material: https://archaeologydataservice.ac.uk/era/section/panel/overview.jsf?eraId=151\nHistoric England area scheduling: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1415509\nModel created from 4 stereo pairs captured by Joe Gibson in January 2007. The imagery forms part of the NADRAP / ERA archive
