Area of exposed outcrop situated at the eastern end of Weetwood Moor, near Wooler, Northumberland. One of over two dozen carvings gathered together on Weetwood Moor. This area of exposure is cataloged as 'Weetwood Moor 3b' within the Beckensall Archive and features a cup and ring alongside a partial ring, both set within natural catenary ripple marks. Additional markings such as a groove and two further arcs may also be present, although the nature of erosion makes it challenging to verify their existence. Added to ERA by NADRAP in 2008. ERA record including BA material: https://archaeologydataservice.ac.uk/era/section/panel/overview.jsf?eraId=137 Historic England area scheduling: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1415509 Model created from four directional images captured by NADRAP Team 1 in June 2006.
