Weetwood Moor 2d (Jan 2007)
sketchfab
Exposed outcrop on eastern Weetwood Moor near Wooler, Northumberland is home to over two dozen carvings, with one cluster identified as 'Weetwood Moor 2d' on the Beckensall Archive. This area features cups and a cup with a partial ring, although the latter motif was not captured by photogrammetry during NADRAP recording. Added to ERA by NADRAP in 2008, the record including BA material is accessible at https://archaeologydataservice.ac.uk/era/section/panel/overview.jsf?eraId=143. Historic England has scheduled this area at https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1415509. A single stereo pair captured by Joe Gibson in January 2007 forms the basis of the model, which is part of the NADRAP / ERA archive.
