Area of exposed outcrop situated towards the eastern extremity of Weetwood Moor, near Wooler, Northumberland. One of over two dozen carvings clustered together on Weetwood Moor. This area of exposure is oriented towards the northeast and referenced as "Weetwood Moor 1e" in the Beckensall Archive. The most intriguing element of this carving is the choice of surface displaying probable natural catenary ripple marks. The motifs consist of a cup and offset irregular ring, with two possible cups. This model may also have revealed a possible cup and partial ring (at the bottom). Added to ERA by NADRAP in 2008. ERA record including Beckensall Archive material: https://archaeologydataservice.ac.uk/era/section/panel/overview.jsf?eraId=130 Historic England area scheduling: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1415509 Model created from 8 stereo pairs captured by Joe Gibson in December 2006 using a 5mp Nikon Coolpix 5400.
